Why Use Goats Milk Soap

Why Use Goats Milk Soap

You should want to use goats milk soap instead of regular natural soap or handmade soap because raw goats milk contains specific ingredients that enhance your skin. The goats milk soap you should use should contain real, fresh, raw goats milk.

Goats milk soap really cleans your skin in a way that most other soaps don’t. In fact after washing with a high quality goats milk soap, with high goat milk content, you should be able to apply an astringent on a cotton ball, rub it over you face and not see any residual dirt or makeup.

Goats milk soap has alpha hydroxy acids in it such as glycolic acid and lactic acid  which help clean your skin. It works to strip dead skin cells and smooths out lines and wrinkles. It also can help to clear up skin problems such as acne caused by skin irritation.

Goats milk soap has cream in it. The cream is a moisturizer so you don’t have to add extra moisturizing chemicals to your skin.

Goats milk soap has vitamins and minerals your skin needs to keep it young looking and to protect it from skin cancer. Goats milk is high in vitamin A, or retinal A as you might have heard it called. It also has Selenium in it which has been shown to protect against skin cancer.

Selenium is an essential mineral that is need in the body. It is an antioxidant, especially in combination with vitamin E. Antioxidants like selenium fight free radicals.

Vitamin A helps form and maintain healthy skin. It is know as retinol because it is what causes pigments in the retina of the eye.

Retinol is a form of vitamin A and is found in animal liver, whole milk (like raw goats milk) and some fortified food.

Regular homemade soap, while better for you than cleansing bars made of petroleum products, do not necessarily have raw goats milk in them. It is the raw goats milk that makes goats milk soap so special.
