What Goes Great With Bacon? More Bacon.

Hi everyone,

Pork is a much maligned meat. Some religions won’t even allow it to be eaten! But I have to say, for me, nothing speaks “home” than waking up to the smell of sizzling bacon or pork sausage on the stove.

And turns out, free-range pastured pork is actually good for you. It’s low-carb, full of good saturated fat, (which is now being shown to actually be “heart healthy) and also chock full of various nutrients, from choline and selenium, to phosphorous and niacin.

And BONUS! It stops food cravings. After all, if you’re eating good bacon or pork sausage, why eat anything else?

Last Saturday I had the privilege of purchasing and trying Little Spring Creek Farm‘s free-range pork at the Franklin Farmer’s Market. What a delectable treat! I could NOT believe the flavor of this sausage. It was rich, old-fashioned, and delectable. I plan to buy more, can you tell?

Little Spring Creek Farm has free-range pastured pork from heirloom-breed hogs, and these are well known for their rich flavor.

Brandon Williams is the owner of Little Spring Creek Farm, and not only does he offer free range, pastured pork, but he also has raw Jersey cow milk as well as raw goat milk available through his herd-share programs.

Little Spring Creek farm also only uses NON-GMO FEED. This is very unusual and hard to find.

On top of this, HIS SHARE PROGRAM IS VERY AFFORDABLE!

They grass feed their cows year round, which is unique as well, and this produces the highest quality raw milk. And not only that but Brandon also offers butter, cream, and goat cheese as well for their herd share owners.

They offer delivery into the Franklin Farmer’s Market every Saturday morning from 8:00AM to 12 noon at the Factory and are also delivering into Nashville on Tuesdays at Sevier Park, 12 South Farmer’s Market, from 3:30pm to 6:30pm.

If you’re looking for a good herd share program, contact Brandon today.

Blessings,
