This Milk is the Easiest to Digest of Them All …

TFRM EMAIL HEADER

Hi everyone,

Did you know that goat milk is easier to digest than cow milk? The fat globules in goat milk are smaller, making it easier for your body to digest. And the protein in goat milk forms a softer curd than cow milk in your stomach. Cow’s milk is about 10% protein whereas goat milk is only about 2% curd, and this helps your body digest it with less irritation than cow milk.

Goat milk also has fewer allergenic proteins than cow milk and causes less inflammation.  It’s actually the proteins called A1 casein that most people can’t tolerate when it comes to cow’s milk. A1 casein is less easily digested than A2 casein, which is the much better protein.

Cow’s milk also contains more than 20 different allergens (including A1 casein) that can cause allergic reactions and many times people confuse these reactions with  having allergies. These symptoms range from congestion and runny nose, to abdominal cramping, all the way to colic (in babies.)

A2 milk (and all goats give A2 milk) has been shown to have none of the inflammatory, allergenic properties of A1 milk. It’s the best kind of milk you can get.

Harmony Lane Goats is a new goat milk farm that offers extremely nutrient-dense raw goat milk Harmony lane-Julie and goatthrough a herd share program.

Mark and Julie David, the owners of Harmony Lane Goats, have 60 ADGA (American Dairy Goat Association) registered dairy goats; Alpines, Saanens, Toggenburgs, and LaManchas.

Situated on 44 acres east of Nashville, their farm has array of abundant foliage that the goats love to browse on, including blackberry fence rows in the back of the property, they drink from the natural spring and this helps to produce better milk and an all around healthier goat.

Check out their page on my Tennesseans For Raw Milk website.  Here is the link to it https://tennesseansforrawmilk.com/harmony-lane-goats/.

They offer raw goat milk herd shares, as well as raw goat milk cheeses, and goat milk soaps. They would like to try to start delivering to major metropolitan areas across TN, like Nashville, Knoxville, and Chattanooga.
